Volunteers Needed for the Annual Gala & Silent Auction

Welcome Volunteers:

The Human Rights Campaign is the nation’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. It has a grassroots force of more than 700,000 members and supporters fighting to end discrimination against GLBT people and striving for fairness and equality for all.

The gala dinner is an annual event to raise funds for HRC. It provides an opportunity for local supporters of GLBT equality to come together for a fun evening of dining and entertainment. The success of these events helps in the fight for equal rights for all people.

Our past gala dinner successes have been a direct result of all the dedicated and talented volunteers– that’s you! Through your hard work and energy, we can ensure that HRC can continue its work to improve the lives of GLBT people.

As we expect every annual GALA dinner and not so silent auction to be more successful than our previous year, we still have some Volunteer positions that need to be filled. While helping out with HRC you get the chance to meet other great, dedicated volunteers who are helping to make this amazing event a reality.

So please donate your time and talents on October 25th 2008 for our Annual Diner, located at the Crown Plaza Hotel 111 E. Pecan Street San Antonio, Texas.

When you volunteer with HRC, you help:

• educate the public about critical issues,
• mobilize your community to take action,
• expand the voice and visibility of the GLBT community,
• help to change hearts and minds, and
• bolster a nationwide effort to end hate and discrimination.
